In February of 2011 the Enhancement Program began a series of operational and organizational changes that are transforming the way EEP develops mitigation in North Carolina.  More changes have been identified and are on the way to comply with Session Law 2011-343.

Several structural and process changes have already been implemented, and by the end of this year EEP will have added new tools, procedures, and purchasing processes to improve operational efficiency and technical excellence.  This evolution will create new and different business opportunities and partnerships that should benefit NCAEP and its members.

This presentation will describe EEP’s efforts to maximize functional uplift to North Carolina’s aquatic resources through a focused statewide mitigation program.
