The North Carolina Association of Environmental Professionals (NCAEP) is the largest multi-disciplinary professional organization of its kind in the State.
Formed in 1989 by ten environmental consultants, the association has grown to over 200 individual members and 7 member corporations in 2013.
Researchers, consultants, regulators, educators, attorneys, engineers, geologists, and students involved in any and all aspects of environmental management are eligible for membership.
Our Guiding Principles
The purposes of NCAEP are to:
- Promote standards and ethics throughout the professions that comprise environmental management;
- Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas among professionals; and
- Provide recognition for outstanding environmental management achievement in North Carolina.
NCAEP is a chapter of the the National Association of Environmental Professionals. NAEP was founded in 1975, with the expressed purpose of "Promoting excellence in the environmental profession".
