The North Carolina Natural Heritage Program (NHP) and the North Carolina Association of Environmental Professionals (NCAEP) hold one-day Natural Community Identification workshops. These field trips/workshops are led by NC Natural Heritage Program staff and focus on natural communities and associated rare plants in different parts of the state. These field trips are designed for environmental professionals, botanists, and students who are responsible for conducting environmental surveys and assessments.
