Staff of Moffatt & Nichol (John Dorney), Axiom Environmental (Sandy Smith), and the NC Department of Transportation (LeiLani Paugh) will conduct a 4-day course organized by the NC Association of Environmental Professionals (NC AEP) on the latest version (Version 5) of the North Carolina Wetland Assessment Method (NC WAM) for determining the condition of wetlands from October 10- 13, 2017 in and near Raleigh, NC.  This lecture and field course will focus on the method which is the standard method formally adopted by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District in their Public Notice dated April 21, 2015. The authors were part of a multi-agency team of state and federal agencies who developed the method over the past several years and have previously taught this course using the same curriculum. The course will be taught at the Moffatt & Nichol Offices at 4700 Falls of Neuse Road, Suite 300 (South Tower), Raleigh, NC 27609.  The fee for the course is $750 for NCAEP members and $775 for non-members and includes lecture and field instruction, a copy of the most current NC WAM User Manual, field transportation, field drinks and snacks, as well as field lunches. 

Cancellations on or after 4 October will receive a refund of the registration fee, less a $100 administrative fee.
