Staff from the Division of Water Resources will present on the recently revised state riparian buffer protection rules for the Catawba River Basin, Goose Creek Watershed, Randleman Lake Watershed, Neuse River Basin, and Tar-Pamlico River Basin that went into effect June 15, 2020. The presentation will provide a brief history of the rule revision process, a detailed explanation of key changes and rule organization, and future implementation strategies. Staff will be available for a panel discussion after the presentation.
