The Natural Resources Leadership Institute (NRLI) is recruiting for its 2009 program. Please think about professionals from your department or organization who might be interested in participating in the 2009 Natural Resources Leadership Institute.

The Natural Resources Leadership Institute is a multifaceted instructional and community service program administered through the NC Cooperative Extension Service at NC State University. Since 1995, nearly 370 professionals have participated in NRLI, emphasizing skill and knowledge building in conflict resolution and multi-party negotiation, critical thinking, and collaborative problem solving. Our goal is to enhance collaborative leadership in environmental management and policy development, leadership that will influence workable solutions within complex, and often contentious, environmental issues. Emphasizing hands-on training, participants are very active in their own leadership development including engaging in an applied leadership project.
