Guest Speekers:

Dr. Art Bogan, Curator of Aquatic Invertebrates for the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences, and Mr. Scott Van Horn, Research Coordinator for the Aquatic Nongame Program of the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, will be the featured speakers for the event. They will discuss the status of freshwater mussels in our state and the relevant permitting/collection guidelines.

Dinner Registration Fees:

Members: $15.00
Non-members: $25.00
Students: $5.00

Membership Fees (prorated):
(add to dinner fee, covers membership thru 12/31/06)

New/renewing members: $10 (total $25)
State employees: $5 (total $20)
Students: $5 (total $10)

Registration and payment is due by September 5. Payment must be received to reserve your seat.

Directions to BB&Y Restaurant:

• From the I-440 beltline, take the Glenwood Avenue exit into town (away from Crabtree Mall)
• At the first light, turn left onto Woman's Club Drive (a new 5-story building is being constructed on corner).
• Follow Woman's Club Drive as it makes two left turns and becomes National Drive.
• BB&Y is in the Caldwell Building (3700 National Drive), which is the first office building on the right after the traffic circle.
• Go in the front door and turn left. BB&Y is the first door on the right (3700 National Drive, Suite 101)
