Come join us in Raleigh, NC to learn about Phase I ESA updates.

On December 30, 2013, EPA accepted ASTM E1527-13 “Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process” for compliance with CERCLA’s “All Appropriate Inquires” Rule.  The new ASTM E1527-13 rule incorporates the older E1527-05 and the ASTM E2600-10 “Standard Guide for Vapor Encroachment Screening on Property Involved in Real Estate Transactions.”  This presentation will cover the changing scope of due diligence from the ASTM E1527-00 through 1527-13, the requirements of CERCLA for liability protection and the increased focus on soil vapor.
